The App

Outside provides weather information and clothing suggestions based on current conditions and your personal preferences. It includes:

• Current weather observations
• Provider-reported feels-like temperature
• Personalized clothing recommendations
• Scheduled weather notifications
• Multiple saved locations

Weather Data Disclaimer

Notification timing

Outside requests weather alerts at the local times you choose. Delivery depends on the weather provider, notification service, Apple, connectivity, and your notification settings. Alerts can be delayed or missed. Outside uses a 30-minute sending window to avoid sending old scheduled advice and stops inactive registrations after 90 days without an app sync. Open the app after travel to update its last synced location and time zone.

Your Responsibilities

• Use the app for its intended purpose
• Keep your device and OS updated
• Don't attempt to reverse engineer or exploit the app

Location Access

• Required for weather data (you can use manual entry instead)
• Used for fetching weather. With iOS notifications enabled, the last synced notification location is also stored by the notification service.
• You control this permission in device settings

Intellectual Property

• The app's design, code, and brand belong to us
• Weather data is provided by WeatherAPI.com and OpenWeatherMap
• Don't copy, modify, or redistribute the app

Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy. Key points:

• No account required
• Preferences are stored locally on your device, and iOS notification data is synced to our backend only as needed for push delivery
• No ads or user tracking

Limitations

As-Is Service

• Provided without warranties
• May have occasional downtime or errors
• Weather accuracy depends on third-party providers
• Features may change over time

Liability

• We're not liable for decisions made based on weather info
• No responsibility for indirect or consequential damages
• Maximum liability limited to what you paid for the app

App Store

Your use is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service. Their terms take precedence for distribution matters.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept them. We'll update the date at the top when changes are made.

Termination

• Uninstall anytime to stop using the app
• We may discontinue the app with reasonable notice

Legal

These terms are governed by US law. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration.
